  3. D U Welcome to Discover University We are about to open the doors to Discover U. I know that each and every one of you is excited about being a part of it. Making a commitment to learn throughout one’s life is so important, and I’m proud to be part of a credit union that places such a high value on learning. There is always more than one way to learn. The obvious way to learn is by being a student. You will have plenty of opportunity to be a student in this university. Every class you attend, each resource you utilize, and every developmental activity you complete gives you a chance to learn and grow. But there’s another important way to learn and that is by sharing what you know with others. All of us have knowledge within. When we share that knowledge with others, we make their lives richer. Seeing them grow then becomes a learning experience for us. As you work your way through the credit union university, try to be a student and a teacher. If all of us are willing to do both, there’s no limit to what we can do for our credit union, our members, and ourselves. Good luck to everyone, and I look forward to seeing all of you in an upcoming graduation ceremony! Kerry A. S.
