EPHSI At-Risk Summer Food Shelters Program: Enhancing Local Access and Community Partnerships

El Paso Human Services, Inc. (EPHSI) is launching a program to increase participation in their summer food and shelter initiatives for at-risk populations. By collaborating with local agency programs, teen and community centers, and co-ops, they aim to provide culturally sensitive meal options. The implementation of a new meal pattern will include bread products, snacks, and family-style serving to address concerns and cater to diverse cultural preferences. Training resources like websites, handouts, and social media platforms will support gradual implementation within the community.
