  30. What does it mean for a substance to be neutral? Give an example of a neutral substance.

  32. Acids have a range between these two numbers on the pH scale, while bases fall within this range.

  33. Acids are between 0-6.9 Bases are between 7.1-14

  34. Describe the difference in taste between acids and bases, and describe when it would be okay to eat them.

  35. Acids taste sour, while bases taste bitter. You can only eat them when they are weak.

  36. Think back to the acids and bases lab - which colors represent acids and bases on the pH scale?

  37. Acids are red-orange, while bases are blue-green
