  5. Recreational Season Monitoring • 35 sites sampled monthly • Sampling began on April 8 • Sampling ended on October 9 • 9 flow sites sampled monthly

Non-recreational Season Monitoring • 9 sites sampled monthly • These are 9 of the original 35 sites • Sampled for 12 months • These are the 12-digit pour points • This location provides the most information to be used for the 12-digit watershed • These are the flow sites • Flow will continue to be sampled monthly at these sites

  8. Headwaters Main Beaver Dam Ditch • 8.27 stream miles impaired for IBC • Sample Sites: 24,25,26,27 • Preliminary Impairments • E. coli, DO, IBI

  9. Main Beaver Dam Ditch - Deep River • 22.76 stream miles impaired for IBC • Sample Sites: 18, 20, 21, 22, 23 • Preliminary Impairments • DO, Nutrients, IBC, E. coli

  10. Headwaters Turkey Creek • 9.7 stream miles impaired for E. coli and IBC • Sample Sites: 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33 • Preliminary Impairments • DO, Ammonia, IBC, E. coli

  11. Deer Creek - Deep River • 34.24 stream miles impaired for IBC, siltation, E. coli • Sample Sites: 15, 16, 17, 19 • Preliminary Impairments • DO, Nutrients, IBC, E. coli

  12. City of Merrillville • 7.07 stream miles impaired for E. coli • Sample Sites: 34, 35, 36 • Preliminary Impairments • DO, Nutrients, IBC, E. coli
