  2. WGM Activities Tuesday, Q4 – Joint Meeting with ARB • Discuss SAIF Implementation Guide Development Wednesday Lunch – Project Facilitator Roundtable • Leading a project? Have questions? Please join us! Thursday, Q3 – Project Services Work Group Meeting • Open Forum (open to anyone with project questions/concerns) • Discuss SAIF and Sound: Fast Track to Standards Development • Plan for January 2011 WGM PMO / Project Services Work Group Update

Accomplishments Since Last WGM Project Approval Process Documents • Detailed out the ‘Who’, ‘How’, and ‘To Whom’ • Identified task owners and document how to complete the tasks • Created 5 documents, based on Project Sponsor • Work Group Sponsored Projects • Marketing or Board Committee Sponsored Projects • TSC Sponsored Projects • International Council Sponsored Projects (NEW!!) • Affiliate Sponsored Projects (NEW!!) • Board of Director Sponsored Projects / Contract Projects • Located with the PSS at Participate > Templates PMO / Project Services Work Group Update

Accomplishments Since Last WGM SAIF And Sound Project Scope Statement • Worked with ArB and TSC to create the final Project Scope Statement • Gathered TSC approval for the Project Scope Statement Project Follow Up – Nag! Nag! Nag! • Past Due Projects / 3-Year Plan Items (Next Milestone Date of May, 2010 WGM and Prior) • Reminder: Project Insight is the central repository for HL7 Projects and Work Group Three Year Plans PMO / Project Services Work Group Update

Our Work Ahead SAIF And Sound • Identify changes to the PLCPD • Implement identified changes in the PLCPD • White paper for ballot or peer review Work Group Project Documentation Wiki Page Layout • Part of the Project Visibility project • First Step: Identify existing Work Group Project Documentation Wiki pages as good candidates for building the template. Our Work Ahead Project Scope Statement – Version 2011 • Annual updates to the template; proposed modifications include: • Make Co-Sponsor its own field in Project Insight and the Searchable Project Database • List key SDO/Profilers • Universal Realm criteria • Recommended communication tasks • Refine help text PMO / Project Services Work Group Update
