  7. Food • Great food is part of any outdoor adventure. It is the fuel to keep you going and keep you happy and it won’t take campers long to figure out that everything – breakfast to burgers -- tastes better when it’s cooked over the campfire. • They take part in the planning, shopping for and cooking of the meals • Always a vegetarian option available.  • We will do our best to accommodate special diets. • Kashrut: We recognize that some of our campers keep kosher, and some do not.  We do our best to accommodate and validate many people's kashrut choices.  We never serve pork or shellfish; we never mix milk and meat in the same dish, and we never serve a dairy desert after a meat meal.  We always have kosher meat at our base camp, and we buy kosher meat during the trek when it's available.  When it's not, we offer fish or vegetarian options.
