8. Paul reminds them that they are: "...the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called holy, together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ--their Lord and ours" 1 Cor 1 v2

9. Dare we read: "... the church of God in Ipswich, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called holy, …”

10. Paul addresses the issue • He doesn't gossip about it (Not even "...just for prayer..."!) • He doesn't ignore it, • He doesn't say it doesn't matter • He doesn't say nothing can be done, • BUT, He Does Do what he can. He can't go to them, but can write to them, and he does.

11. "I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought". V10

12. "My brothers, some from Chloe's household have informed me that there are quarrels among you. What I mean is this: One of you says, "I follow Paul"; another, "I follow Apollos"; another, "I follow Cephas"; still another, "I follow Christ." (1 Cor 1 vv11-12)
