MTF Priority Actions Planning by 2010 and construction by 2014: • Rail extensions: South Morang, Mernda, Whittlesea; Epping North; Cranbourne East; • Electrification to Sunbury Planning by 2014 with construction by 2018: • Baccus Marsh duplication and electrification • Doncaster rail; • Rowville rail. Rail freight investment, annual reporting on meeting targets for rail freight and reduced empty running

  8. Promotion of cycling as sustainable transport • Ride to Work Day • Increase cycle funding • Cost effective/sustainable • Power assisted bikes
