Well-led programme – developing registered managers A brand new national development programme for managers working in the private, public or voluntary sectors Was developed with the input of hundreds of registered managers Involves a series of practical workshops designed to enable leaders to deliver care in line with the expectations of a ‘well-led’ service You’ll find out what managers of well-led organisations do to achieve and sustain high standards and how to apply these examples across your own organisation www.skillsforcare.org.uk/events

  3. Values-Based Recruitment Toolkit Values such as dignity and respect are vital to ensure staff deliver high quality care and support. Skills for Care has developed an online toolkit to support employers embed these values throughout their recruitment and retention process. Skills for Care Recruitment & Retention seminars Finding the right people for your organisation - will explore practical ways to find and attract candidates as well as practice shortlisting and designing selection days to help recruit people with the right values and behaviours for their organisation Recruiting for values in adult social care - will provide delegates with the opportunity to develop and practice new interviewing techniques and skills to identify and assess how a candidate’s personal values, behaviours and attitudes align with those of their organisation
