(1 sentence per word, 10 sentences total) **Compound sentence: 2 simple sentences joined by a coordinating conjunction (and or but) **Complex sentence: 2 simple sentences joined by a subordinate conjunction (while after because if as before since unless until when) 2. Create a cinquain or acrostic; or draw an image that represents the word. (You don’t have to do all of one activity; you may mix these up.) • Due beginning of class on Friday.
