  2. A- Process dissemination • Means to spread our work: magazines, newspapers, website www.afolsudmilano.it, www.spaziomilk.com, spazio milk facebook page, Web tv, leaflets, events, seminars, mailing lists, placards, etc.

  3. A- Process dissemination Networking: the 27 municipalities part of AFOL Sud Milano, schools and training centers of the area, youth centers, Community centers, Province of Milan, Chamber of Commerce, Trade Unions, Social Service districts, representatives of undertakings, enterprises, social cooperatives, associations, etc.

  4. A- Process dissemination When do we carry out this process: we disseminate our activities constantly in our daily work. At the beginning and at the end of each project we commonly organize promotion and dissemination events.

  5. A- Process dissemination What information is given to the addressee of this diffusion process: training given, schedules, recreational activities (concerts, trips, visits, theatres, etc). The language used is commonly italian, according to activities and projects, other languages can be used

  6. A- Process dissemination Through what way our users have come to the center: through word of mouth, through other services/centres of the area, information on the web, leaflets, newspapers, etc.

  7. A- Process dissemination Reasons: professional refresh, personal interest, to socialize. In some cases, learners HAVE TO attend courses if they want to receive public welfare payments (dowry system)

  8. B - Methodologies and Evaluation Methods to promote participation: personalization, self directed learning, innovative way of teaching (theatre, cinema, etc), self biographical methodoly to valorize personal skills

  9. B - Methodologies and Evaluation How do we check achievements: through questionnaries, final tests, customer satisfaction questionnaries (it depends on the kind of course considered)

  10. The “Dowry” system in Lombardia No LLL course is funded directly by R.L. to educational organizations A virtual dowry is given to the “would be” student who spends it where he/she finds the best offer for him/her Every interested person has to enter a “process” Every person who needs to be supported to find a new job, has to enter a “process”

  11. The “dowry” process Guidance /counselling– first interviews where the basic needs and goals are defined Competence check and evaluation - The “dowry” process finds out what’s missing in order to reach the goals (or getting closer to them) According to his/her need the person can start a coaching experience or start a course

  12. PERSONALIZATION Courses can be either chosen from a very large depository of “traditional Courses” (especially vocational) Or they can be personalized activities (geared to 1 to 3 people). In this case they are considered part of the coaching experience, and they are aimed at supporting the student so that he/she can reach his/her goal No real standards for personalization have been set
