The reality is…… When made aware of the multiple benefits of energy efficient products and building performance services, consumers will respond in great numbers. We prove that initial outlay is recouped through energy cost savings. As consumers become convinced of the additional benefits and cost savings of one product, this understanding extends to other energy efficient products and services. i.e. ENERGY STAR®

NYESLH Requirements Must be built by Participating Builder Must be built with aide of Home Energy Rating System (HERS) Rater Must be modeled and tested with Rem/Rate software Must include 500 kWh of electrical savings Must fulfill all technical specifications (air infiltration, minimum efficiency and proper sizing of HVAC equipment, duct tightness, etc.)
