1. B Movie • A b movie is commonly known as a second movie on a double bill, which was typically on a low budget. Genres include horror, sci-fi, suspense or gangster. Later on b movies had the definition of any film could be re done on a low budget. Due to the low cost of such films they have been known to have some of the most cheesiest acting and dialogue. B movies tend to stick with people because they have touched a part of people that make the feel like their child-like innocence have been taken over, you don’t always remember what they are called but the images from such films have stayed in the memories throughout adult life.

2. Examples of B movies • Beginning of the end(1957) – A science fiction film based on an agricultural scientist who successfully grew gigantic vegetables using radiation but got eaten by locusts which then grow to a gigantic size and attack Chicago. It is generally recognised for its bad special effects, it is also considered as one of the most poorly written and acted science fiction motion pictures of the 1950s. • Bite the bullet(1975) – Old western based on a 700 mile horse race taking place over a few days. A rival rancher is trying to steal water forcing a gunfighter, a sheriff and a gambler to join forces come together to try and help a rancher and there family with this crisis. • Best of the best(1989) – Focuses on a martial arts tournament between the United States of America and team Korea. USA have a team which has a streetwise fighter, an extremely brash fighter with a short fuse and a fighter who is seeking revenge a member of Korea due to the previous tournament where his brother was killed.
