  2. WhoisWideningParticipation CIC? • WideningParticipation CIC is a CommunityInterestCompanybased in Plymouth, Devon, UnitedKingdom. OurOrganisationislaidonEthical Values. Our core objective is to work with projects which are going to generate a positive result and tangible benefits to local, national and international communities. Our beneficiaries are, young people from deprived areas and disadvantaged communities and also Ethnic Minorities. • Our expertise is a result of a strong project development, management skills, from initiating the idea to design, delivery, implementation and evaluation of community based projects.

Thebestpart of our activities willbearoundstudents, families and young peoplewith particular emphasison Black, Asian and EthnicMinorities. • Wealsoworktoprotect and preserve the cultural heritageamongthe BAME (includinggypsies, roma and travellers), forcomunitiestobetterintegrate and worktogether. • WideningParticipation CIC willaimtopromote social and welfareactivitestoincreasetheintegration of allcommuinities and betterunderstanding of thedifferentlanguages, customs and cultures.

Languages: Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguése, Greek, Indian, Albanian and much more. • The aim of language training is to provide communities of all ages and backgrounds the opportunity to better communicate with each other, reducing diversity and creating a durable network between all course participants. • Cookery courses: Italian, India and international cuisine. This is aimed to bring communities together to learn appreciate different food and cultures, through tasting and exchanging recipes of traditional dishes.

Who are we? • Antonio Sardu • QualifiedlanguageTeacher in 1971 University of Cagliari with expertise in Montessori Methodology, AfricanCulture, • Wilst a student Antonio providedhisvolunteeringservicestoseveralcharities and won anawardforFund-Raisingforpeoplesufferingfromleprosy in Africancountries. • In 1991 University of Plymouth – NHD Btec in Computerstudies • TEFL & modernlanguageTeacher • Coordinador of activities & Training coursesforForeignstudents • Marketing, Sales & Business Development • Project Coordinator. • Antonio iscurrentlyManaging Director of WideningParticipation CIC, WideningParticipation Albania & Europe forDiversity and Culture, in Crete.

Sunder Braganza: • Project Director • MA in Labour Management, • Diploma in social work with children and families level 4 (Stonebridge college UK) • Certificate in Community Development, • Mentoring and trainer skills (UK). • He has worked with large international organisations like Rotary international and local clubs in USA and India on health, hygiene and education. • Sunder has been awarded "Volunteer of the year" award from the Lord Mayor of Plymouth city.

Eglantina Kumaraku • Native of Albania & nowresident in Chania, Crete, qualified as a kindergarten teacher in 1996, and after as a PrimaryTeacher in 1999. • Eglantina acquiredknowledge of thediferentcultures and thenecessityto preserve themotherlanguage and heritage of theAlbanianimmigrants in Crete/Greece. • Has designedclasses of Albanianlanguages, History and Cultura forthechildren of Albanianimmigrants. • Eglantina isfounder & President of “Europa forDiversity and Culture”, NGO in crete & a Director of WideningParticipation CIC in UK & alsoExecutive Director of WideningParticipation Albania.

JolantaPociute • Profesional of lituanianorigin BA in religiousStudies (Vytautas Magnus University of Kaunas) & Professional pedagogy, (University of Klaipeda) Has worked as Journalist and administration in publicrelations & Ethicteacher in Vėtrungė gimnasium in Klaipeda, • Teacher of visual advertising production & organizer of students’ and staff mobility projects and programs at Klaipėda Service and Business School, Lithuania. • Now Graphic Designer & Marketing Director for Italy, Lithuania & Russia

Mr JayaprakashJala MA, MPhil, PDGTSE, (Phd) • Académiceducator. • Wellestablishedtrainer and consultant in highereducation. • Responsiblefortheoperacions of the International Consortium of the Centre of Innovation in theacadémicWorld (ICCIA). • ResponsiblefortheWorld Magazine and Book Bank, which are the central organs of Widening Participation CIC (United Kingdom) • Experienced Training Manager & Coordinator of theDivision of Continuing Engineering Education (CEED) _ Academic Staff College of India VIT University. • Leading educational project to teach teachers to be councilors of the groups of students and their families to create better employment opportunities and integration into society and the work environment.
