  1. Pouffe vs Hassock: What is Best for Your House?

  2. Pouffeand hassock are compact pieces of furniture that can elevate the interior and seamlessly fit in with all kinds of decor. They are a perfect solution for houses with limited space. But which one do you need?  Choosing between a pouffe and a hassock can be confusing if you do not know how they differ or their purpose. This article will break down the differences and compare the two.

  3. Hassocks • Hassock is a cushioned low stool used to rest your feet or seat. It is a type of footstool. A footstool may or may not be cushioned. For instance, an all-wooden footstool will have no padding. But a hassock will always have an upholstery. It will not have a storage unit.  • Besides using it as a footstool, you can also use it as a side table to keep your magazines, drinks, vases or other items. These can be easily incorporated within the floor plan. Hassocks come in several vibrant colours. Hence it can become a part of any colour scheme. Hassocks can be very heavy, and carrying them from one room to another is difficult. • Pouffe • Pouffe is a large, lightweight, and dense cushion that can be used as a footrest. But mainly pouffes are used for sitting. You can choose a rectangle, square, or round pouffe based on the size of your room. Since these are lightweight, it is easy to carry them around, unlike a hassock. Since pouffes are incredibly soft, they can also be used as a large cushion. Just like hassocks, pouffes also come in different colours. One of its drawbacks is that it is less stable than a hassock. Therefore it is risky to place your drinks on a pouffe. These can also take up some floor space.

  4. How to choose? • Do you want a piece of multi-purpose furniture that uses limited floor space? Hassocks are perfect for your room. But if you want something casual and cosy, pouffes are your answer. Both pieces of furniture have their purpose and can be included in any setup due to their versatility.  • Find Your Favourite at Footstools & More: • Are you looking for a storage footstool, pouffe or an ottoman?
