  5. CSLEPS Opportunity Become a member of the Service Leadership Team! What is the Service Leadership Team? • It's a team of student leaders a part of the Center for Student Leadership, Ethics, and Public Service staff that works to serve, educate and unite the NC State Community with the surrounding community through different programs they organize throughout the year! How to Join? • There are 5 different committees (Hunger Advocacy, Community Outreach, Global Health Programs, Youth Programs, and Global Awareness) that focus on different topics and you can apply HERE to become a member on the committee. Before applying, you MUST either meet with one of our committee directors or attend our Informational Meeting on Monday, August 27th in the Walnut Room (4th floor) in Talley.   6. Tutoring Opportunity The Academic Support Program for Student Athletes is looking to hire tutors for the fall 2012 semester. The job description and the link for the applicants to apply is provided below. Please send this to any students that you feel meet the criteria. Thanks for your time! http://ncsu.edu/aspsa/asep/home *Requirements for all Academic Skills Enhancement Program Staff* • Must have at least a 3.25 cumulative grade point average, demonstrate proficiency in coursework and/or have received a B+ or higher in the courses selected to tutor. Must abide by North Carolina State University, NCAA and ASPSA rules and regulations. Must be able to teach academic success strategies to a diverse student population in a one-on-one or small group setting. Must have the ability to effectively communicate verbally and have skills to develop written reports. Must be attentive to detail and accurate in record keeping. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Preference can be given to individuals who have tutoring experience or other educational qualifications.

I am currently out of the classroom and am seeking to employ a quality education student in my home, and of course you can't ask for anyone better than Teaching Fellow! I am a business owner and I home school to elementary aged children...one is special needs. If you can assist me in pairing us up with a quality student seeking part time employment, I would be most appreciative. Tuesdays start time could be earlier in the AM, but I am willing to work with someone’s class schedule. Some evening babysitting duties available. I am really looking for a pleasant personality who is eager to be a part of our extended family. References required.
