  5. “What we obtain too cheaply, we esteem too lightly. It is dearness only that gives everything its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods” -Thomas Paine

  6. Perfected in Christ “Our goal as mortals is to gain the mind of Christ, to believe what He believes, to think what He thinks, to say what He says, to do what He does, and to be as He is” (Bruce R. McConkie, BYU, 6/1/80).

  7. PERFECTION “We consider that God has created man with a mind capable of instruction, and a faculty which may be enlarged in proportion to the heed and diligence given to the light communicated from heaven to the intellect; and that the nearer man approaches perfection, the clearer are his views, and the greater his enjoyments , till he has overcome the evils of his life and lost every desire for sin; and like the ancients, arrives at that point of faith where he is wrapped in the power and glory of his Maker, and is caught up to dwell with Him” (Joseph Smith, HC 2:8).

  8. Testimonies • Share your testimony of what the Book of Mormon and Jesus Christ have done for you.
