  4. Parachutist Drop Bag (PDB) • Single Point Release System • Connects PDB to upper rings

  5. Parachutist Drop Bag (PDB) • Lowering Line • Connects to right side lower ring or G-Strap • Shoulder straps • Tighten down when you get “Stand Up” • Adjustment Straps • Tighten and stow excess after EVERY Jump • Center Equipment in Bag • Keep weight close to body and as high as possible

Rigging for CE Jump • Weapon • Sling over left shoulder • Tie to the most comfortable loop with 80lb cotton webbing • Sling goes under shoulder strap and over Chest Strap • Twist so magazine is to the rear and sling routes over the for stock • Route waist band over the weapon and under main lift web

  7. Rigging in Aircraft • Secure PDB on the deck in front of you • Jumpmaster will signal first pass to rig equipment at approximately 10 minutes • Pick PDB up set it on the seat • Legs through the shoulder straps • Hook up the lowering line to lower right ring • Connect Equipment attaching hooks to middle upper rings • Wait for a Instructor inspection before sitting down • Approximately 6 minutes Jumpmaster will start Jump Commands

Rigging in Aircraft • Stand Up • Stand, Check pins and hand jumper static line snap-hook • Hook Up • Snap-hook facing skin of aircraft • Check Static-lines • Check routing and insure “Hooked UP” • Check Equipment • Tighten shoulder straps and check all connection points • Sound Off For Equipment Check • Pass thumbs up to Jump Master from last to first jumper

  9. After Exit • Hold body position as canopy starts to open • Gain control of canopy • Under Canopy • When on final approach to landing • Check lowering line • Lower equipment
