The Room & Clean Up

  • Explore the room and equipment that you'll be using this year. (MIG, Torch, Plasma Cutter)

  • Clean up jobs are more in depth than in 6th grade.

    • Jobs can either be assigned or everyone just helps!

    • Clean up starts when the bell rings or when I say!

    • Work stops when it's time to clean up!

    • Don't stop cleaning unless the room is spotless!

    • Don't wash hands until after I say we are done!

    • Don't be lazy!

    • Clean twice as hard when a sub is here!

Things to know l.jpg
Things to Know...

  • This class won't complete the projects by itself. A good attitude and strong work ethic are needed.

  • When clean up begins EVERYONE cleans at once.

    • Don't go wash your hands until the room is totally clean.

    • Don't pickup the basketballs or play games until I give the okay.

    • Mr. Lewis hates a dirty shop and requires the shop to be clean before you can leave.

    • Always make put in extra effort to clean the room with a sub is here.

  • Understand there is no extra time outside of class to work in the shop unless special arrangements are made.

  • All work and projects are due before the last day of class.
