  5. QUOTE FROM COMMANDER • Maj Hardman, I wanted to pass along my sincere appreciation to you and your staff for an outstanding Yellow Ribbon event.  With 30+ years of military service, I did not believe I needed someone telling me about deployments and benefits.  I was wrong.  The information presented was timely and to the point and will allow my men and women to be better prepared for their deployment.  The issues presented in the two day event is information that all commanders need to know, whether they are deploying or not.  The program did a great job of helping the family members understand the many avenues available for assistance and also gave the military members a sense of relief knowing their families will be taken care of while they are gone. Deployments are never easy for the service member or their family, but you and your staff have helped ease some of that stress.  Great job! Thank you for the professional job you and your staff do.  I know my people are now better prepared.
