Recent Advancements in JPL GPS Solutions: Improved Consistency and Upcoming Releases

The JPL Analysis Center has made significant strides in enhancing the consistency of its GPS solutions relative to the IGS combined solution, especially notable starting from week 1442. This improvement is largely attributed to the use of IGS standards for antenna calibrations, leading to an impressive 80-90% reduction in orbit and clock variances. In preparation for a comprehensive reprocessing campaign set to commence in July 2008, JPL is updating its models and pod strategies. Additionally, the new version of GIPSY (version 5.0) is scheduled for release on June 3, 2008, to coincide with the IGS Workshop in Miami, Florida.
