Local running races The 2nd Annual Longport Take A Breather 5k Run is a race for runners looking for something slightly different from the traditional road race. It is a 5k Out & Back on the beach and occurs when the tide is low, which means you will not be running on soft sand, but on hard packed sand similar to a dirt trail. CASH PRIZES awarded to the top 3 Male & Female Finishers. Medals awarded to top Male & Female age group winners. 5k out-and-back course on hard packed sand. Low tide is 5:05pm Electronic chip timing Custom Designed T-Shirts to first 200 entrants.
