  2. Additive Inversea.k.a. Additive Identity • The opposite of a number

  3. Multiplicative Inverse • the reciprocal of a number. A reciprocal is one of a pair of numbers that when multiplied with another number equals the number 1.

  4. Absolute Value • the magnitude of a real number without regard to its sign. Hint: remove any negative sign in front of a number, and to think of all numbers as positive

  8. Natural Numbers • the positive integers (whole numbers) 1, 2, 3, etc., and sometimes zero as well.

  12. Repeating Decimals • a decimal fraction in which a figure or group of figures is repeated indefinitely.

  14. Zero pair • a pair of numbers whose sum is zero.
