Adwords: The Content Network By: James Bird
WTF is Adwords and the Content Network • Adwords.google.com • Search Network – is when I got to google.com and type “household repair” and ads show above and to the right of results • Content Network – ads on other non-search sites. IE your blog about “cats in people clothes.”
How it Works • You can pick keywords and have your ads show up on sites/pages of sites related to those keywords. • You can pick sites/pages and have your ads just show on those sites/pages. • You can do a combo of both and have your ads on show up on a site and then on pages only related to a keyword. IE – About.com pages related to keyword “Weight Loss”
