  2. About Me . . . • Born January 13, 1991 • Grew up on a farm outside of Mellette, SD • Attended Northwestern School from Kindergarten through graduation • Started at USD in 2009, majoring in Elementary Education -Clip Art obtained from Microsoft Office

  3. Family . . . • Two sisters, one older (Jodi) & one younger (Kara) – brother-in-law (John) • Older sister got married in 2007 • Dad is a farmer, and Mom is a computer programmer. -Photo obtained from Jodi Melius (Facebook)

  4. High School. . . • Participated in many activities • Sports (volleyball, basketball, track, softball, club volleyball) • Student Council • Future Business Leaders of America • Fellowship of Christian Athletes • Journalism -Photo obtained from ElissaHeidenreich (Facebook)

  5. College . . . • Member Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority • Joined SERVE, specifically Adopt-A-School • Now the chairperson for AAS • Participated in Alternative Week of Off Campus Learning • Play intramurals • Member of Pastoral Council at the Newman Center

  6. Traveling . . . • Florida – Disney World • Chicago, IL – National FBLA • Hawaii – King Kamehameha Volleyball Tournament • Anaheim, CA – National FBLA • Costa Rica – Spanish class trip

  7. Professional Goals . . . • Graduate from USD with a degree in Elementary Education and a coaching endorsement • Find a job in a great school • Make a difference in students’ lives and inspire them to be the best they can be -Clip Art obtained from Microsoft Office
