  13. Our Presenter: Anita Samuel Anita Samuel has been a teacher, teacher trainer, and course facilitator for more than a decade. Her experience teaching an international student body in Malaysia sparked her interest in inclusive teaching and creating learning environments that are equitable to all.  She is currently a doctoral student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where she is focusing her research on equity in the online learning environment. Her teaching philosophy places the learner at the center of the process and this shapes her research and practice.
