  2. Processors and options • The processor is found on platforms and it is with multi-core. • A processor is used to store instructions • A Processor consists of four steps. Fetch, decode, execute, and writeback.

  3. Motherboard • The Motherboard is on the inside of the system. • The Motherboard is also known as the main board of the computer system. • The Motherboard is sometimes shortened to MOBO.

  4. BIOS • Bios stands for Basic Input/ Output System. • The most important thing that the Bios does is load up the operating system. • The Bios is found on almost every computer system available.

  5. Power Supply • The power supply can be seen from the back of the computer system. • The power supply is a metal box that is found in the corner of the PC case. • Today’s switching power supplies are smaller and lighter than the switching power supplies that were used many years ago.

  6. Fan And Heat Sink • The computer system prevents heat with heat sinks and fans. • The heat sink is designed to lower the temperature of the computer system. • Some Heat Sink may require a fan.
