Q: How much money do

Year 11’s spend

on concerts?

CONCERTS!

We set out to find just how much

money year 11 students at Loreto

college are willing to spend on tickets,

merchandise and food before, after

and during concerts! We will find out

through surveys and analyse the

information in a clear and easy to

understand way!

Collecting Data

We surveyed 25 out of the 138 year 11

students at Loreto College, therefore

we used convenient sampling.

The percentage of our sampling was:

18% of the year level. We then took all

of the information and calculated the

Average amount spent.

Box and whisker plot graph

The Amount of money spent at concerts by year 11 students at Loreto college

in a box and whisker lot form.

Results

The most amount of money that was spent on concerts by the

year 11s at Loreto college, was \$200, and apart from no

money being spent, the least total was \$30.

The mean : \$92.90

Higher quartile : \$126.50

Lower quartile : \$76.00
