Conclusium: • Employees are expensive • failures are expensive • Not recognized failures are even more expensive • Comparingly to these cost a good magnifier is cheap • Not using magnifiers will not increase the yield of inspection Fazit: • If size and quality of a lens and its illumination will not be sufficient - easily a lower inspection yield can be monitored, resulting therefore in higher production cost/piece. Often followed by eyepain, pending eyedamage or lung damage for the operator when soldering under a lens
