  3. THE PROGRESS OF ACTIVE POPULATION IN ARGES COUNTY The active population by gender The active population by professional training In 2012 a decrease of 5,4 % has been registered since 2007 in the active civil population.

EVOLUTION OF THE MOST WANTED JOBS IN ARGES COUNTY • According to Arges County Agency for the Occupation of the Labor Market, between 2007 and 2012 a decreasing tendency can be noticed in the percentage of the population involved in agriculture and industry, in comparison with an increase in services and constructions. • The main areas of activity are in the fields of: • commerce, • textiles, • public work economy, • tourism • food sector. The most sought after jobs between 2007-2012

  5. THE FIELD OF ACTIVITY FOR THE TOP COMPANIES • The local market was dominated in the last 5 years by business in the following fields: • electric and electronic equipment • civil engineering • food industry • They have all been on the market for about 19 years.

  6. THE TOP OF SUCCESSFUL COMPANIES IN 2012 What needs to be underlined is the sudden boom of a 20-year-long company dealing with imported medicine delivery. It is closely followed by some companies producing electric and electronic equipment. Last, but not least there are some food producers.
