  1. A Typical Day in Preschool St. Francis of Assisi

  2. Circle Time We gather on the carpet to begin our day with prayer, a song to the American Flag, and a review of the calendar. Once our daily routines are complete, we listen to a story, engage in a formal lesson, or participate in a Seeds lesson (our weekly Gospel).

  3. Learning Centers We have several Learning Centers throughout the classroom which the children interact with/participate in throughout the day. Some Learning Centers change daily or weekly, while others change monthly. One Learning Center is always teacher-led and the others are student-centered.

  4. Snack Time Our children just love snack time! We join together for prayer, food, friends, and great conversation. Our program supplies daily snack while being extremely conscientious of all children and any food allergies. (We are also always a nut-free classroom!)

  5. As our afternoon class arrives to school, our all day/everyday students head to the cafeteria for lunch. The children may pack lunch from home, but we also have a wonderful hot lunch program. Nap Time andLunch Time Once our morning class goes home for the day, our all day/everyday students have nap time. Some children fall asleep and some children do not. It is a time for our bodies to rest and rejuvenate.

  6. Special Interests • Physical Education • Library In addition to our typical daily schedule, our 4 year old and PreK classes participate in the following: • Field Trips
