FORTUNATE 40 - A FIITJEE's Initiative to academically uplift Economically Deprived JEE is a performance-based competitive exam that selects students with high IQ and analytical skills having clear concepts. Students know that to clear this exam they need specialized coaching from an early stage to achieve success. The name that immediately comes to mind while talking of JEE coaching is FIITJEE. 2. The FORTUNATE 40 program is designed for students of classes 8th and 10th whose total parental income is less than Rs. 10,000/- per month. FITJEE every year conducts an entrance test for students currently in classes 8th and 10th from the financially weaker sections to select 40 meritorious students for each program. The selected 40 students are awarded 100% scholarships on FIITJEE programs as well as 100% waivers on hostel charges. However, for Integrated School Programs, at some locations, school fee will be charged to from the students and at some locations, scholarship is awarded even on the school fee. FITJEE has FORTUNATE 40 batches in every program and at each location comprising a maximum of 40 students. With JEE and other entrance exams becoming tougher, aspirants are finding it difficult to crack these exams. Cracking these exams becomes more difficult for students from economically less fortunate backgrounds because they lack access to quality education from premium institutions as well as guidance and nurturing of world-class teachers. To remove this barrier and allow these students to be on par with others, the FORTUNATE 40 program was designed to enhance their knowledge and prepare them for any prestigious college and institution. This program propels these students into the big league that otherwise would have lost their way in the absence of apt guidance and nurturing. Right from the start of this program, many students of the FORTUNATE 40 batch have reached a new echelon of success and have made the institute proud. FIITJEE’s FORTUNATE 40 program not just prepares students for all sorts of competitions but also instills in them confidence and values that help them excel in their field of choice and create a lasting difference in their personalities.
