  1. University of Bath Finish Start Additional parking within University campus Competitor parking at HQ A36 HQ Course – UH35Start level with seam in tarmac at Southern end of Claverton village. The Avenue runs uphill for 800m rising 81m mostly under cover of trees. Finish at start of gateway on left immediately after brow of the hill. Sign On, prize presentation, toilets, showers, café and bar are all located at the Sulis Club. Cycling shoes must be removed before entering the HQ. Open Hill Climb Sunday 4th October First rider: 1500hr The Avenue Claverton Down Event HQ Sulis Club Claverton Down Rd Bath, BA2 7AY Promoted for and on behalf of Cycling Time Trials under their rules and regulations.

  2. Route to CourseAll riders are requested to ride to the course along Claverton Down Road and proceed with caution down the course to reach the start. Allow 10mins to reach the start. Upon reaching the Claverton Village all riders should take the left hand turning and wait to be called to the start area. The A36 MUST NOT be used either during warm up or as a route to the start. Prizes The organisers would like to thank John’s Bikes and Feelgood@ Ltd for their kind support of this event. We invite all competitors to attend the presentation where prizes will be presented at the event HQ at 1600 1st Overall £50 1st Lady £25 2nd Overall £25 1st Team £10 each 3rd Overall £10 Prizes may be presented in whole or in part as vouchers. Event SafetyRiders are reminded that the road is not closed and so RTTC rule 20 – observance of the lawMUST be adhered to. Riders are asked to ride slowly and close to the left when descending The Avenue. The bottom corners are sharp and off-camber. In the interest of your own safety Cycling Time Trials and the event promoters strongly advise you to wear a hardshell helmet that meets the internationally accepted safety standards. Parking Competitors may park at the Sulis Club or ample parking is located within University of Bath. Competitors are asked not to park at any point along The Avenue.
