  1. The planets of the Solar System

  2. Our planet seen from the MOON Earth is the only planet whose English name does not derive from Greek or Roman mythology. The name comes from Old English and Germanic language. There are, of course, hundreds of other names for the planet in other languages. Our planet the Earth is the only planet that is known to have life on. It has not yet been proven that there is life on any planets other than ours. Our Earth is made up of air, ocean, desert and forest.

  3. The sun is just 1 of hundreds and thousands and even millions of stars in our Solar System in fact without stars there would be no light and the sun is what gives us most light bec- ause it is the closest to earth.

  4. Moon The moon is thought to be created by a ball of rock about the size of Mars crashing into Earth to make little balls of rock that joined together from heat because the Earth was still developing at that time.

  5. Mars Mars has higher mountains, and deeper canyons than any other planet. The largest canyon on Mars would stretch from New York City to Los Angeles on the Earth. That makes the Grand Canyon look tiny. It Also has the Solar Systems biggest volcano, Olympus Mons. Mars is also known as the red planet. DID YOU KNOW: Mars also like the Earth used to have water.
