One Minute Recruitment Visit Provide contacts and resources • If you want to learn more about being a doctor, let’s plan time to talk. • Other students I know have found it helpful to talk with… • I have a lot of helpful information about how to make the decision to seek a medical career. • There are summer programs and clubs that may be of interest to you. • Please contact us whenever you want to talk about planning for college, medical school or other healthcare field.

  14. AHEC Resources Health career activities for kids of different ages: • Summer health camps • Shadowing experiences • Youth Health Service Corps or MASH camps • Health Occupations Student Association groups • Mentors • Clinical rotations • Scholarships • Jobs

  15. What does it mean to AHECs? • Community docs wanting to recruit kids. • They will need resources for kids to pursue activities. Let’s get them those resources!
