True facts • Mammoths are a extinct animal, One reason that there extinct is because of the climate change. • They have passed away for many years over 100. • They are not fat there coat is wooly and poufy so in winter they stay nice and warm • They were around for about 250,000 years. As an adult they were over 3 meters high and there tusks were 5 meters long, there body's were 1 meter long. • died and were trapped in ice 

  6. Vertebrate Mammal • A Mammoth has approximately 317-321 bones . That means mammoths is a vertebrate, it is also a mammal.

  7. Habitat and Food Some fossils from a mammoth were found in North America and Northern Europe but they started in Northern Africa. • The woolly mammoths' habitat was a cold and windy grassland • They were a vegetarian that means they ate small plants, grass and parts of left over trees.
