  4. Need for Food Today • There were 554,456 Oregon children enrolled in school • in 11-12

  5. Need for Food Today • 287,249 children were eligible to receive free and reduced price lunch at school • That’s 53% - or one in every two children

  6. Need for Food Today • 46,211 children receive meals/snacks through CACFP • That’s 16% of the kids who receive free/reduced price lunch – at most

  7. Need for Food Today • 43,781 children receive meals/snacks through SFSP • That’s 15% of the kids who are eligible for free/reduced price lunch – 1 in 7
