  4. Maintaining Well Balanced Chapter Operations Social Events with the Faculty Community Service Project Have annual events people can anticipate Wiki Site for CBEE Pamphlet about the club for freshmen Strict club dues Coordinate better with campus resources

Interesting Ideas on Funding and Freshmen(from Texas A & M) Co-program events with other disciplines Maintain contact with graduated officers and members Keep sponsors by sending pictures and letter updates Increase attendance by increasing advertising Facebook group  messages, notifications Officer or club shirts worn on meeting days Computer lab screen backgrounds and screen savers changed to ads for general meetings and events Mentor Program: Freshmen + Junior/Senior Students + Graduate in Industry Yearly dinners, game nights, tutoring, etc.

Topics include: fundraising and leadership; community service; networking with Industry and Alumni; conducting an interview workshop; more. • Engineers Without Borders • University of Washington • You can be a Chem E/Bio E/Env E and be involved with EWB! • A non-profit humanitarian organization established to partner with developing communities world-wide to improve their quality of life through sustainable engineering projects. • Oregon State Group • http://groups.engr.orst.edu/ewb/ Effective Fundraising and Increasing Freshman Participation Texas A&M University -Mentor program: matching upperclassman and underclassman, mentor activities/club member activities (dinner banquet) -Plant tours -OSU Chapter already does a great job with fundraising and class involvement (Fundraising Without Big Companies – Ryan Stillwell & Maddie Midgett)
