  1. 2009 Recreation Archery Season: September 16th – November 18th Visit our NEW website http://www.np-recreation.com Cancellations will be listed on the REC Hotline !908 756 0247, prompt #2 1st Day of Archery is Wednesday, September 16th ALL TIMES ARE FOR WEDNESDAY EVENINGS ! Archery takes place in the gymnasium at West End School Girls/Boys 3rd – 5th Grades 6:30 – 7:30 pm Girls/Boys 6th – 8th Grades 7:30 – 8:30 pm There will be no phone calls for this sport. Please just show-up on the first day to receive your Archery t-shirt and group assignments. Training, Instruction and Safety Our instructors will teach the proper technique and shooting procedures of Archery. This sport helps to improve hand-eye coordination, mental concentration, focus, composure and discipline. Archery is a wonderful sport for upper body strength and toning arms and shoulders. Students not adhering to the Rules of Safety will be asked to sit out or leave. If you are interested in donating prizes for the weekly archery events, please speak with one of the instructors on Wednesday nights or one of the Coordinators.
