  2. What is ITpro Data? • ITpro Data is a comprehensive database of ICT-related products/services. It currently contains details of 3,643 products in 232 genres (as of 27 January 2010). • This database is used by those people responsible for collecting information on new ICT- related products and services to introduce into their workplace. • Users can search by product genre, company name or product name. They can then create a comparison table to determine the most suitable product or service to purchase. • Nikkei BP’s editorial staff writes all articles, from commentaries classified by genre to articles about individual products and services. The content is comprehensive and regarded by users as extremely reliable as it is written from an impartial viewpoint. • ITpro Data providers our advertisers with a cheap way to acquire sales leads. The listing runs for 24 weeks and advertisers are provided with details of all users who download the PDF of their product or service. • Feedback from ITpro users who have previously requested further information is that “the information is high quality”

Advertising - ITpro Data ITpro Data Basic Menu is an individual product/service listing (editorial) which provides the advertiser with a list of all users who download the PDF This menu contains an introduction of the product/service of approximately 50 English words (to be translated into Japanese) and a PDF download button For an additional JPY100,000 we will guarantee a minimum of 30 downloads over the period of 24 weeks • Advertisers receive a list of the people who have downloaded the PDFs, but no log report is provided • Modification of content or PDF after publishing will be charged • Delivery date of the ITpro Data Products & Services Mail and ITpro Targeting Mail cannot be specified • Advertisers can choose the target for the Targeting Mail based on user’s viewing history. Please inquire • The traffic driver package will run for the first 4 weeks of the package • MATERIAL • Nikkei BP will produce the advertising material. Production cost is included in the price • The advertiser must provide up to 1x A4 page of text from which Nikkei BP will create the ITpro Data content • If English language material is provided, an additional charge of JPY 30,000 – 40,000 applies for translation to Japanese

Advertising - ITpro Data Special ITpro Data Special is a tie-up site on ITpro Data The package includes the ITpro Data Basic Menu plus 4 weeks of a tie-up site plus traffic drivers Users must register in order to request additional information or download files and can be directed the from ITpro Data Special to the advertiser’s own website The tie-up site can contain up to 400 words of text in English (to be translated into Japanese) and one visual (chart, data, illustration, photo, etc.). The traffic drivers are a text banner and e-mail ad Leads generated are delivered weekly to advertisers • The tie-up site and traffic driver package will run for the first 4 weeks

Advertising - ITpro Data Special • Nikkei BP will produce an introduction page equivalent of up to 2x A4 pages to explain the unique features of the product/service and all traffic drivers Production cost is included in the price • The advertiser must provide up to 2 x A4 pages of text from which Nikkei BP will create the ITpro Data Special. If English language material is provided, we charge JPY 30,000 – 40,000 for translation to Japanese

  7. ITpro Data Results An average of 25 PDF downloads can be expected per 4 week insertion (The number of PDF downloads are not guaranteed) 19
