15. Behavior Management SystemBe Positive! Room 15 The emphasis in 2nd grade is BE POSITIVE! I constantly encourage good behavior and look forward to spending each and every day with your child. The children are given lots of praise and positive reinforcement for following rules. Throughout the year, students will also receive paw awards, stickers, stamps, and certificates for good behavior. The first week of school we made a class promise. I promise to . . . *be a good friend *be a good listener *work as a team *be respectful *have a good attitude

17. Homework will include: • Independent Reading Log • Math Practice • Spelling Homework • Grammar Practice • Comprehension Homework will be assigned each day but not due until Friday. Please check your child’s work each day.

18. Bobcat Binder Bobcat Binders contain writing assignments that have been completed in class. The binder also contains a section for reflections, where students look back on their work and set goals for future lessons.

21. Field Trip/Club Fees • Field trip and club fees will be paid online through Infinite Campus. • Second grade field fees for this year will be $30.00. • We will be taking two field trips this year. More information to come! • Volunteers will be selected to attend through a random drawing of those interested in attending.
