  3. Çanakkale is the name of both the city and the province which includes the legendary citadel of Troy, the ruins of Assos where  the famous Temple of Athena was built, and the battlefields of Gallipoli.

  4. Biga has a population of 80000 people. It’s 90km away from city center. There’s one faculty of Çomü (University).

  5. PUBLIC TRAINING IN TURKEY The majority of the education activities outside the formal education framework are carried out in 922 public training centers.

  6. It covers the education of the citizens who have never entered the formal education system or are at any level of it or have left at a level. Non-Formal Education covers all the education, training and guiding activities carried out both in and out of the formal education system.

  7. In these centers, the following courses are given to citizens of all ages and education levels; - Literacy courses - Vocational courses - Socio-cultural courses - Socio-cultural practices

  8. Biga Adult Education Center opened in 1962; has got 8 classrooms, 2 workshops,1 multi functional room, 1 teachers room; a director room and administrative service rooms.

  10. Our vision is to be an institution which aims to progress society through sharing all scientific and technological innovations, and to make our center a culture, art, profession education center which every-aged people can benefit from and ensure their lifelong learning.

  11. Due to wishes and needs our center serves 12 months a year and 7 days a week in hours between 07:00-24:00 and in anywhere where learners easily can attend.

  12. During our courses we arrange tours, seminars, meetings, symposiums and other culturel activities which volunteers and our learners can participate.
