Every person in the group has contributed immense amounts of time & effort to understand the interworking s of other departments and their use within I-Transplant. They have done everything that has been asked of them including projects outside their normal job function which include but are not limited to creating work flow charts and timelines of their departments process & tracking extra information on referrals for us to dissect. One of the more time consuming projects was highlighting every page in I-Transplant that their department touches, connecting all fields with the steps in the work flow process, and we are now working on tying them back to the specific P&Ps . Though the vision was not clear in the beginning how it would all come together everyone was a team player and never gave up. Every member is now equipped with the knowledge of every departments work flow and is starting to think about ways to improve LifeShare’s process as a whole and not just their own. The amount of information they have had to learn and retain in such a short period of time shows just how dedicated they have all been. The progress that has been made in enhancing the use of iTransplant is just in the beginning phases, however discoveries about the functionality and work flow surrounding it has already identified areas where process changes need to be implemented in order to yield a more effective referral process. Their open-mindedness to a cross-organizational and cross-functional way of thinking has given me inspiration and hope for LifeShare’s future. I think their ability to think out side the box and undoubted love for the mission proves that they are all individually and collectively great assets to the organization. I am proud to be apart of such a well-rounded, team-oriented, and devoted group.
