  2. Lion escaped from West Midlands Safari Park • Keepers in pursuit • 2 adults 3 children taken to hospital. • Journalist being rushed to the scene and will report back asap.

  3. Lion recaptured in multi-storey car park and returned to Safari park • 1 adult with serious head injuries • 1 other adult and 5 children being treated for minor injuries at Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham.

  4. Interviews with eye witnesses faxed to press office • Minor injuries discharged from hospital • Head injury to stay in hospital for several days.

  5. Lion called Rory. Oldest lion in park 12 years old. Rare white lion • Keeper called Ivan Roaralot. Worked at the park for 20 years
