  1. Benedict ARNOLD… HERO, VILLAIN, OR BOTH?

  2. IS Benedict really the villain or hero? • Why he is a Hero • He is a leader. • Treats people like his own family respects people • Does not give up because people do not believe in him • Why he is a Villain • He hurts people when they do not keep his secrets or do as there told • VERY shady • Benedict Arnold runs when he gets in trouble

  3. Benedicts life As a little kid benedict was very improper. Benedicts dad always was drunk, that embarrassed him. When Benedict got older he, decided to turn his life around an become a leader. Becoming a leader meant he needed all soldiers to trust him. Arnold decided that he was going to try to do good this so people would forget about his childhood and, his fathers drinking problems. Once Benedict proved that he would be a great leader people started thinking of him as a hero. After a few months of war Benedict got hurt and was on strict bed rest. He begun to think that he was not good enough for the soldiers and that it was to much work and stopped being there leader. After deciding that being the American Leader he went behind George Washington's back and started working for the British. When going back to America, Benedict hid information about George Washington in his pants. Almost there he got stopped by American soldiers that did not know him. Then searched him and found the hidden information. The soldiers went straight to George Washington, George did not believe him. Benedict did not know George was aware and went to his house to eat. When a messenger came and told benedict he ran. He was very scared because the last person that did what he did died an painful death. When benedict thought that he could get away with what he did he went to New York. The Americans caught him and took off his boot and buried him I think he was burned to death.

  4. What I thought about benedicts punishment • I thought that benedicts punishment was way to harsh because, think about it this way. If there is crunchy peanut butter and creamy and I say at first I want crunchy, But then I don’t like it because of the texture and I decide to go with creamy then, I am just changing my mind about what I want. Is it that big of a deal. Obviously these what Benedict did and what I just gave you an example of are two very different things. But shouldn’t YOU have your own voice?

  5. WHAT KIND OF PUNISHMENT I WOULD HAVE GIVEN BENEDICT! • If I was George Washington I think that I would have put Benedict in jail so he cant go off blabbing his mouth. Or maybe I would make him run errands for me for a certain amount of time.

  6. What I think about this book • I really liked this book at first. But then when I got into the middle of the book it got boring because it was just talking about things I am not really interested in. Finally when I got to the end of the book it got REALLY interesting because it had a lot of action.
