  3. Prior to Pre-Order State will define the pre-order period State identifies the grade levels for each school participating in the pre-order New adoption titles will be assigned to programs District will select the programs that the schools can order from

  4. Schools Enter Pre-Order Schools are notified in Destiny when the pre-order period is open Each school participating in the pre-order will select and order quantities of copies for titles

  5. Regular Ordering Orders change status in the system as they move through the process When you enter the order  Unsent When you submit the order  Submitted When the State approves the order  On Order If the State denies the order  Denied When the books ship to you  Shipped Shipments will no longer come to you as transfers Once you receive the order, the order is archived

Bundles The State may define bundles for titles The title is a bundle that consists of: Teacher’s Edition 25 Student Editions When you order, you order the bundle “I want 5 bundles of this title” After you receive the bundle, you “unbundle” the various titles and copies….and then barcode whatever needs to barcoded Once a bundle is “unbundled”, you can’t return it as a bundle

New Service Follett assists your district with setting up batch process for loading student data and schedule data New students added Existing students updated Follett works with your district tech staff for up to 30 days to validate the process is working correctly, and they are prepared to monitor and support the process About one week to complete work once started We would prefer that you get this process completed no later than 2 weeks prior to start of the school year

Keeping Your Student Data Clean You can run a Patron Name List to review your patrons (students) in the system If students leave your district (or school), you can remove their patron records from Destiny Delete by graduation year Back Office | Update Patrons | Delete You can view possible duplicate patrons (multiple patrons records with the same first and last name) Back Office | Update Patrons | Merge Duplicates Select “Find Possible Duplicate Records”
