  7. Problem/Readiness/Champions Problem Being Addressed • Acceleration of transfer of research technologies into the Navy and DoD and acceleration into the marketplace sooner. Technology Readiness Level • This technology has completed level 2 (technology concept formulated). Champions • ONR has requested that University of Illinois undertake this initiative and supports allocating $500K of TRECC Program funds. • UI supports this initiative because it promotes entrepreneurship and business start-up.
