E-portfolio Journey to launch on 5 September took 2 years Lots of research, feedback and forums carried out Supplier chosen spring 2010 – Amco Delays in developing our internal database and approval of the new QCF/SCQF qualifications had impact on pilot launch Pilot training /review / development carried out during 2011 (on test site/candidates) with 40+ centres

E-portfolio Champion Role • Assigns candidates to assessors and IVs • Manages relationships between assessors, candidates and IVs • Where appropriate, manages relationships between managing agents and training providers (sub assessors) • Can communicate with users • Can upload resource material

E-portfolio – Assessor Role • Activates candidate accounts • Activates and manages assessments • Marks and provides feedback on assessments • Approves and links candidate evidence • Tracks progress of candidate/groups • Can amend (some) candidate details • Can communicate with users • Can upload and use resource material
