History of National Data Analysis System (NDAS) • In May,1999, the National Data Analysis System (NDAS) became available to the public. • The system was developed with the cooperation of all 50 states and the District of Columbia, whose data are available in the system. • Over the past four years thirty-eight states have partnered with the League by sharing in the cost and participating on the advisory committee for the project. What is the National Data Analysis System (NDAS)? • A database of child welfare data in the U.S through a publicly accessible website. • It organizes large amounts of information about various topics. • A resource to learn how states are doing things similarly or differently.
