Named after the famous hunter, this national Park is sought eagerly by adventure enthusiasts. And now it is sought by some other enthusiasts too.  So, planning a wedding with a dash of adventure; Well Jim Corbett park in the foothills of Himalayas and just 300 Kms from Delhi is an ideal choice. With the stunning mountains as the backdrop and the majestic Kosi flowing over white boulders enhancing the ambience, nothing could be a more perfect setting for exchanging wedding vows. The location is also ideal because it provide a calm atmosphere and privacy where we can catch up some special time with friends and family. So let us work out on the key areas to plan it in pomp and style. Consult with guests on connectivity After deciding the destination, we need to ask-Is it easy for the guests to get to the destination from their current location? The nearest airport Delhi is approximately 260 kms from Corbett .By road, your own car or a private taxi will complete the journey in 6 hours or so.Considering Delhi has an international and international airport where many flights are coming in, it makes it easier for the guest to have a destination which is closer to some main city. Corbett's nearest railway station is Ramnagar, which is about 12 kilometers from the national park. The best train to get to Corbett from Delhi is the Ranikhet Express, which runs directly from Delhi to Ramnagar. Check the season and the availability of the venue Destination weddings are much in vogue with couples as they want the atmosphere to be light where they and the guests also enjoy. From November to February the weather is good though the nights will get chilly so plan accordingly. The prices also may soar during this time so plan in advance so that some discount may be possible.

  3. The River view retreat ,spread over 8 acres on the banks of Kosi offers luxury and privacy. The lawns are spread out and can be used for many themed parties. There is delicious food with local kumaoni fare also being there. There is also arrangement for excursions and museum trips if the group desires and thus guests can also have a good time. Plan ahead Most destination wedding vendors and venues require advance payments and other formalities, so it's a good idea to start planning ahead. Inform the guests well in advance so that travel arrangements can be made accordingly by them. Booking earlier sometimes allows you to get discounts which are always welcome.  At fab venues we have properties for you  The Tiger groove resort is surrounded by trees and has manicured lawns which can be used for so many events. Guests can enjoy a splash in the swimming pool or go for a jungle safari. The rooms are spacious with big windows to allow you to enjoy the wonderful view outside. Inform the guests well in advance so that travel arrangements can be made accordingly by them. Select the vendors  Depending on the budget either go for a wedding planner who will handle different vendors for decoration, photographs, food or you could check the portfolio of these vendors yourself and authenticate their listings. Local vendors would be cheaper, though you can take a makeup artist or a specialist caterer if your budget permits it. Look for reviews of the service on the internet to learn more about other people's experiences with it. Ask important questions Make a list of the most important questions you want to ask about the location. Is the actual wedding ceremony location private and away from other tourists? What is the maximum number of guests they can accommodate? Inquire about all additional costs and whether there is a discount for large groups.  In case the wedding gets deferred is there a provision for refund?

  4. Travel to the venue Travelling to the venue is the best possible way to make the final check about the property, the vendor services, the local conditions before you finally book it.Look at the accommodation so changes could be made and maybe some special arrangements  for pickup in case the guests are coming by train.  Check out  with  https://www.fabvenues.in/ for The Brys caves .They have two banquet halls and 40 rooms to accommodate guests as also a garden and catering facility for your grand event. The property is located amidst deep vegetation which will surely send a thrill of adventure into the hearts of the guests. Local element  Add that local touch by making space for kumaoni cuisine and fresh chutneys or preserves from Uttarakhand .The bhang chutney, madua ki roti, aloo ke gutke will be a pleasant surprise for the guests. Step out  Plan an excursion tour for those interested as the area is rich in flora and fauna. Arrange for this tour with the venue manager and be sure your marriage will never be forgotten. So, plan  that the guests step out, sample the beauty of the jungles that Jim Corbett loved all his life, build an appetite, sample the local flavours and bless you for this mesmerizing wedding party.
